O.O), and I'm amazingly proud of my story, and my only regret is that I didn't finish the last chapter before turning in my rough draft, because that chapter would've made the most amazing fanart ever. As the subject line states, merry late Christmas! I go back to school tomorrow, which is depressing (and I still have math homework to do, haha xD), but I'm happy despite that. I didn't quite finish mydgm_bigbang fic (gasp! =O) but the admins were nice, and since I only have a couple thousand words to go and I passed the 20,000 word mark, they accepted it. It's now eligible for fanart. =DDD *is proud* AND the artists are choosing fics to draw for tomorrow! *bounces around excitedly* I'm very proud of what I have so far, though I'm fairly certain the last 2,000 words I wrote suck pie, and both Kanda and Allen are completely OOC (hey, that's what editing is for, right? xD).
And just a short update: I went to the doctor, and he said I have "sports-induced bronchospasms," which I guess is the same as asthma. I get to use an inhaler before PE every day. Fun, fun. >.>;

Eh. Boredom. Winter break, which I was all gung-ho about before, has turned out to be every bit as boring as that niggling fear in the back of my mind told me it would be. Dx Something tells me that if I could actually get off my ass and do something productive, maybe I'd feel better, but a) I have the worst work ethic known to man, b) I'm in somewhat of a rut, and c) I'm sick, which is not particularly conducive to ridding myself of either of the first two. *sigh*
Things I should be doing right now:
~writing mydgm_bigbang fic (got most of the word count, not doing so hot with the plot) (heheh, that rhymed xD)
~doing the one math assignment I have for the entire break

So yeah. That list ended up being longer than I thought it would be, but the majority of those things would take half a second, and almost half of them require NOT doing something, which actually gives me more time...or something... *tries in vain to follow wandering thought processes*

Hmm... Well, not sure if this was it, but I get to go to the doctor tomorrow to find out if I have sports-induced asthma. Yay! -_- I've been feeling rather pathetic of late, because I'll try to run the mile in PE or play in a soccer game, and suddenly, I just can't breathe. It's like my throat is constricting, or my lungs are shrinking, and sometimes I can taste blood, and I get all lightheaded and woozy, and... Yeah. Very unpleasant. It sort-of started about 2 years ago, when I first joined soccer, and has been progressing steadily ever since, but only really started becoming a problem in recent months. The good news is that I get to find out what (if anything) is wrong with me tomorrow morning. The bad news is I have to wake up at around 8. But at least it's not as early as it is during school. *shudder*
I feel like a party-pooper now, with all my not-quite-negative-but-certainly-not-happy ranting. I swear that SOMETHING good happened to me, but it might've been a few days ago, and has therefore been lost in the abyss of screwed-over sleep schedules and half-lucid, sickness-driven thoughts.
One good thing, though: Christmas in 4 days. =D I feel like I wanna do something, like make a music mix to represent the year, or write a nice little ficlet for anyone who actually gives a crap and reads this. xD I'll have to think it over. In the meantime, getting to work on stuff would be a good idea... Though, I think sleeping might have to come first. Hmm.
[Edit: A WINTRY DRABBLE. ABOUT SNOW. =DDD We haven't gotten any snow yet (stupid weather reporters keep changing their minds, dammit), but writing something about snow might be fun. Wintry, Christmas-y, maybe themed after some awesome Louis Armstrong... Sounds fun. =D]

Just a quick little tidbit, to the crowd I know will appreciate it...
KYAAAAA!!! MERLIN AND ARTHUR ARE TOTAL LOVE!!!!!!!!!!! <3333333333 (Yes, creepy fangirl scream. I regret nothing. xD) I'm in the middle of catching up on all the Merlin episodes I've missed these past 4 weeks (4. WEEKS. Dx), and I just finished season 2 episode 6. The end? TOTAL WIN. Awkward moment in which Merlin wants to hug Arthur, and Arthur doesn't originally intend to hug Merlin, but once the chance has been taken from him... We can all see that he wants it. Oh, yes, Arthur has the hots for Merlin. ;D I'm just glad the whole Gwen/Arthur thing has blown over for the time being, because, yeah, historically accurate and what have you, but SO NOT CUTE. Especially when compared to the pure fluff that is Merlin/Arthur. <33333
I told myself 2 episodes today, but after seeing that 1 minute of epic awesome, and the preview for the next episode, how can I resist? ^_^

P.S.S. (Or is it P.P.S....?) Status report on His Silver Eyes: I am now at almost 13,000 words. (I know. Not a lot of progress in a pretty large amount of time. >.>) I've been doing a lot of editing, rearranging, making sure the plot makes sense and whatnot. Because if the plot doesn't make sense at the beginning, I won't be able to write out the end. >.< And I still have a LOT of plot to go, but hopefully I've worked through all the muck that was blocking me before, and can finally move the story forward. ^_^ (Can you tell I had a good day today? =D)

Haha, wow... So I'm in a weirdly good mood. Earlier, I was totally freaking out--close to hyperventilating, even--because this year is SO EFFING HARD, and because I procrastinated all weekend, and now I have loads of homework, and I stayed home because I was sick (and still am, I think, so I'll probably stay home tomorrow). And yeah. But then, I went and watched the HOUSE SEASON PREMIERE (HECK YES), and I now feel much better. ^_^ In fact, I'm in the mood for some really good fluff... But anyway. xD

Yeah... I had to run the mile in PE today. Which might not have been so bad, but for a few things.
1) I did absolutely NOTHING this summer, and as such, am completely out of shape.
2) I have to walk from the high school to the JH every morning, with all my 50 lbs of crap, and then from the JH to the high school for 5th period, with all my 50 lbs of crap, and then from the high school to the mall every afternoon, also with all my 50 lbs of crap. (I'm not actually sure if it's 50 lbs, but it sure as hell feels like it. Dx)
3) I have soccer practice every Monday and Wednesday, and Wednesdays are really hard because my sister also has colorguard those days, which starts half an hour before my soccer practice. So it basically goes school, mall, bus, home, soccer. Literally NO free time on Wednesdays. That's my worst day. Dx
So... I'm sore. And for some reason, my abs are sore, which is odd, because you're not supposed to use your abs much in long distance (yes, I call a mile long distance xp). Though I did sprint the last 100 meters, and we did both push-ups and sit-ups in class Tuesday and Wednesday... Even though we only did 10 each, like I said, I'm waaaaay out of shape. xD'
Mm. I'm liking writing at the coffee shop more and more with each passing day that I spend there. =D Even if today, I was too tired to fully appreciate the Yullen of my dgm_bigbang fic, and pretty much sat there for 3 hours working out the kinks in the plot (it was early release, so I had longer to wait for the bus). And it's highly likely that, because of my only semi-lucid state, the plot that I worked so long and hard on to make sure it makes sense will be complete dribble to me when I've had a full night's sleep. But whatever. xD I rearranged some of the chapters, because I think it would make more sense/read better that way. And I reeeeaaaally like my 4th-turned-1st chapter. =D (The original 1st chapter is now the prologue, and the original 2nd and 3rd chapters are now "pendingone" and "pendingtwo" until I figure out exactly where I'm putting them, which I have a pretty good idea of at the moment.) I'm actually kind of surprised at how well this is going. I thought it would be harder once school started, when I have no free time (I really don't >.>), but it somehow became easier. O.o Ahh, I guess it's just one of those Fucking Mysteries... xD
Oh, and I have this project for Pre-AP English, the "shoe box" project. We basically had to decorate a shoe box so that the outside showed how we think people percieve us, and the inside showed how we percieve ourselves, or whatever. Mine is emo outside and has no personality, because everyone thinks I'm emo for some reason. O.o Especially in Pre-AP, because I have absolutely NO friends in there (until today, when I befriended a girl who's in both my PE and Pre-AP classes), and I talk to no one. xD The inside has my favorite book (or one of them, anyway; The Body of Christopher Creed by Carol Plum-Ucci), volume 2 of D.Gray-Man (it has Kanda on it =D), a pencil, my iPod (or at least it will when I present it xD), a bunch of keys I broke off of my old laptop keyboard, a heart that Sami folded and decorated for me way-back-when (7th or 8th grade, I think it was 8th), and a bunch of origami balls that are colored to represent people that are important to me (for my synesthesia). So. Should be interesting. That was due Tuesday, and we've been presenting all week and I STILL haven't gone. But Ms. Snyder noticed my exasperation at the end of class today and told me I'd be first tomorrow. >.> Not sure whether to be happy or frightened... A little of both, I think... And I almost don't want to pass my box around, like Ms. Snyder wants us to. I don't trust people not to steal my stuff. xD'
AND, AND, AND-- I've found a new addiction. ^_^ It was a recommendation from i_ate_your_cake, and I'd just like to say to her: I OWE IT ALL TO YOU. I WILL LOVE YOU FOREVER. MARRY ME. xDDDDD The title: Merlin. It's a TV show. From Britain. Damn British geniuses. xDDD The plot is so-so, but what the show lacks in plot, it makes up for in SWEET, SLASHY FLUFF. <333333333 MERLIN AND ARTHUR, THEY'RE SO DARN CUTE TOGETHER. xD I mean, logically, the show probably won't lead in that direction (I'm trying to think of Arthurian legend, and who ends up with who... I'm pretty sure Merlin doesn't end up with anyone, but doesn't Arthur eventually have a queen? 'Cause she needs to go get herself assassinated. Seriously. xD), because gay love is generally frowned upon in society (I HAVE NO IDEA WHY, WHEN THERE'S PEOPLE LIKE MERLIN AND ARTHUR, OR ALLEN AND KANDA, OR...OR... OTHER ADORABLE BOY-BOY PAIRINGS >o<), but the writers do seem rather inclined to creating lots of oh-no-he's-dying-I-must-risk-my-life-to-save-him, I-really-care-about-this-boy-even-if-I-t ry-not-to-show-it scenarios. ;D So, I have hope. BECAUSE THEY'RE SO EFFING ADORABLE. GO TO YOUTUBE AND WATCH NOW. >o< I wait with bated breath for season 2, which comes out in the UK on the 19th!!! And then House, season 6 on the 21st. ;D On Fox, at 8:00!!! =)
